Biographies
Wenping Cao received the Ph.D. degree in electrical machines and drives from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2004.
Between January 2004 and January 2005, he was an Electrical Engineering Technologist with the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., and a Research Fellow with the University of Nottingham between January 2005 and February 2006. Between March 2006 and July 2010, he was a Senior Lecturer with the University of Teesside, Tees Valley, U.K. Currently he is a Lecturer with Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. His research interests are energy efficiency improvements in the design, operation, and repair of electric machines and drives.
