摘要
Vehicular communications are expected to contribute to a safe, efficient, and increasingly automated driving experience. In such an environment, mobile and wearable devices are likely to attract even more attention from drivers, which challenges their ability to supervise the
vehicle. In this talk, I will discuss our work towards accurate tracking of user attention - from determining whether a mobile user is driving, over tracking what a user is looking at, to detecting what a user touches. In particular,I will describe how visual communications can both convey information and allow precise localization of the transmitter from the vehicle's and driver's perspective. This will not only make it easier to fuse information with other camera
sensor data but should provide a foundation for mobile and vehicle systems that track
and manage attention.
