2002年担任天津大学电气与自动化工程学院教授
2010年担任天津工业大学教授、副校长
2015年受聘9159金沙游戏场求是讲座教授
教育部长江学者特聘教授,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,973计划首席科学家,国家“万人计划”科技创新领军人才,国家中青年科技创新领军人才,获“何梁何利科学与技术奖”、“光华工程科技奖”和“中国青年科技奖”。
2017年当选中国工程院院士。
