Zhejiang University - Texas Instruments University Student Innovation Center was set up on Oct 16. Prof Yao Yingying, director of the Electrical and Electronic Experiment Teaching Center chaired the ceremony in Zijinggang Campus of Zhejiang University. Prof Ma Hao, dean assistant of CEE, together with Ms. Shen Jie from Texas Instruments, delivered speeches and signed the collaborative agreement on the Center.
Texas Instruments (TI) is a world's leading semiconductor company. Relying on the Center, it intended to promote the application of the single chip computer and simulation techniques in Zhejiang University by equipment donating, sample providing and technical support, etc. It will meanwhile carry on an extensive cooperation with the Electrical and Electronic Experiment Teaching Center of Zhejiang University in such areas as of experiment teaching, textbook compilation, technical training and talent exchanges. A full exploitation of teaching and technical resources will surely help to create better opportunities for university students to foster their capabilities in electronic system design, engineering practice and innovation practice.
