On the morning of March 18,Vice-president Bo Fanxiao came to our college to understand the situation about the organization for important items. Prof. Zhao Rongxiang, the secretary of the party committee and the subdean of our college, made detailed introduction about the development for the moment and the next plan for these items. Then prof. Wei Wei ,the subdean of our college, prof. Gan Deqiang ,the vice director of the Electrical Engineering Dept. prof. Yan Gangfeng, the director of the System Science and Engineering Dept. prof. He Xiangning, the director of the Applied Electronics Dept. made complementary introduction respectively.
At the beginning of this semester( Feb. 17), a symposium about the discipline development strategy, the learning of the spirits of national science and technology conference and carrying out the mission of the meeting for middle-level cadres' (extension) of our university was held at our college. Around medium term and long term national science and technology development planning outline, the symposium expounded the keystone of the scientific research task from now on for the Electrical Engineering Discipline and made specific deployment.
In the afternoon of Feb. 20, the college convened related professors to carry on discussing with meticulous care for the items of "New Energy Resources and Distributed Power Supply Technique", "Power Network Safety", "Synthetical Electric Propulsion" as well as "Industry Energy Saving", and comb through the discipline advantages inside and outside our college. Shi Hongbing, the vice-division chief of Sience and Technology Bureau and the comrades from Advanced Technology Office were invited to attend the discussion.
On Feb. 23, The college formally established "the leading group for national important items", Xu Dehong, the deputy dean of the College, undertook the lead of the group.
In the afternoon of March 13, Cao Yijia, the subdean in charge of scientific research of our college, Convened the meeting again for all the heads of institutes in our college to discuss the previous situation about the organization for important items. He required all institutes to broaden research areas, Strengthen across research and get done with fundamental research as well as preliminary preparations in order to strive for important items.
Vice-president Bo Fanxiao well affirmed the previous work done by the college, he expected our college to do good job in the cooperation with enterprises, give full scope to the discipline advantages of our college and even of our university so that we can make a good score in striving for important items.
