On the morning of Apr.8, 2005, at the invitation of the College of Electrical Engineering, the U.K delegation of Queen's University of Belfast came to Zhejiang University and, and both sides discussed the possible cooperation in research. In the afternoon, Prof. Peter Crossley and Dr. Lie Xu separately delivered two lectures named Impact of Distributed Generation on Distribution Network, and Integration of Large Wind Farms Using HVDC in the lecture hall in Electrical Engineering Building, and received a warm welcome among teachers and students present.
