Rockwell Automation - Zhejiang University strategic cooperation framework agreement signing ceremony was held successfully in Yuquan campus of Zhejiang University October 12. 
Prof Wei Wei, Executive Dean of CEE, signed the agreement with Mr Sun Xiaobei, Director of HR, Rockwell Automation (Greater China) on Oct 12.
Zhejiang University and Rockwell have developed a good cooperative relationship. In addition to the establishment of Rockwell Automation Laboratory, a number of cooperative programs are currently being carried out between the two sides. The signing of the agreement will contribute to a more systematic and comprehensive cooperation between the two sides. The agreement intended to strengthen research collaboration in areas of automation and power electronics, as well as a stable long-term strategic cooperation in talent training, academic exchanges, base construction, etc.. According to the agreement, Rockwell will provide short-term practice, technical training, professional curriculum, technical lectures, teaching award and scholarship for CEE students and faculties. In return, Zhejiang University will offer Rockwell such opportunities as campus promotion and excellent graduate recommendation. Both sides will spare no efforts to promote the university-industry cooperation, hoping for a greater innovation and breakthrough in between.
