Scholarship Awarding Ceremony of CEE (2012) was successfully held last Friday on Dec.21. Attending the ceremony were 20 delegates from 16 scholarship sponsors, Wolong Holding Group, NR Electric Co., Ltd., Lite-On Technology Corporation, Philips Lighting Electronics, Infineon Technology, MPS, Teco Groups, Rockwell Automation, AcBel Polytech, Longcheer Holdings, KSTAR, Emerson, Hangzhou Shanergy Metering Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Inovance Technology Co., Ltd., Digital Video Networks, and Eastpower. The ceremony was chaired by Ms. Wang Yufen, the vice secretary of the Party Committee of CEE.
The group photo was taken between CEE and scholarship sponsor representatives after the ceremony.
In the year of 2012, a total of 27 scholarships were set up by enterprises, the amount of which reached approximately 1.4 million yuan. The scholarship fund went to 62 doctoral students, 137 master students and 129 undergraduate students for their outstanding academic performances.
Later during the ceremony, delegates from the above sponsors delivered speeches on behalf of their companies, sharing with CEE students the enterprise overview and their working experience. All through their speeches were congratulations to outstanding students and great expectations to mutual development between industy and EE College.
