The College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University is looking for postdoctoral fellows in the areas of power system operation and planning, smart grids and complex system reliability analysis and optimization.
The postdoctoral fellows will work in the group of Prof. Yi Ding, who has been in “The Recruitment Program of Global Youth Experts”. Prof. Ding has joined Zhejiang University as a full professor since 2014. Before that, he was an associate professor in The Center for Electric Power and Energy, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He has been responsible for several large scale EU smart grid demonstration projects. His publication can be found at

The fellowship will be supported by “The Recruitment Program of Global Youth Experts” and several national smart grid projects.
Recruitment requirements:
1. Encourage interdisciplinary, electrical engineering, systems engineering and other related disciplines.
2. Be responsible, have teamwork spirit, and have the competence to carry out independent research work.
3. Specific research interests:
(1) Power System Operation and Planning
(2) The reliability of complex systems (risk) analysis and optimization
