On April 23th, the 10th meeting of Grid Connection and Modeling Techniques of Renewable Energy Workshop was successfully held in Hangzhou. This meeting is sponsored by Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and Zhejiang University. Experts from Tsinghua University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China Electric Power Research Institute and more than 50 research institutions, universities and enterprises participated this meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Prof LI Wuhua from Zhejiang University and XU Guodong from Zhejiang Yunda Wind Power CO., Ltd. The opening speech was made by CHI Yongning, chief engineer of China Electric Power Research Institute and the welcome speech was delivered by TANG Haiyang, secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University.
Prof NIAN Heng from Zhejiang University, Prof DU Xiong from Chongqing University and Dr. ZHAO Bo from State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power CO., LTD. Research Institute presented their newest research achievements in the morning.
Prof YUAN Xiaoming from Huazhong University of Science and Technology introduced his new theory for the revolution of power electronic based power system and aroused a heated discussion.
The guests also visited the labs of the EE college and communicated with the students in labs.
The experts from both universities and enterprises delivered speeches in the afternoon. Prof YANG Huan from Zhejiang University, Prof WANG Fei from Shanghai University, Dr. WANG Tiezhu from China Electric Power Research Institute and Dr. ZHANG Zeyuan from Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., Dr. ZHAO Mingquan from Huawei Investment & Holding CO., Ltd. shared their study issues.
Finally, CHI Yongning and ZHANG Yingying delivered speeches at the end of the meeting. The10th meeting of Grid Connection and Modeling Techniques of Renewable Energy Workshop was concluded successfully.
